Putting on shows since 1990
The Muiller Family Light Shows started in 1990 with a simple strand of lights. Our display hasn't always been big. A photo from 1992 shows one of our first setups, just a few outlines on the roofline and a small yard scene.
By 1999, we'd filled the whole yard with blow molds, figures, and lights. Since then, the show has grown into thousands of lights synced to music, animated displays, pixel trees, and visits from Mr. & Mrs. Claus at our Lathrop location. What started as one family's tradition now runs at two locations in two states, and it's still free.
It may be hard to believe, but our display has not always been the largest spectacle in town. These early photos show just how far we've come.

For years, the Kansas City area display called Kearney, MO home. The display grew year after year, filling the yard with blow molds, animated scenes, and a signature mega tree synchronized to music.

The Wisconsin display has been a staple of the holiday season in the Lake Country area, delighting visitors with a mix of classic and modern light display techniques.

A look back at some of the displays from the Kansas City area over the years.
