Christmas Lightbulb Guide

With so many different types of Christmas lightbulbs available, it can be challenging to figure out which ones are right for your needs.

Incandescent Lightbulbs

Incandescent lightbulbs are the traditional choice. They provide a warm, nostalgic glow and come in various sizes including C7 and C9 bulbs. They're affordable but less energy-efficient than LED lights and have a shorter lifespan.

LED Lightbulbs

LED bulbs consume up to 80% less energy and have a lifespan up to 25 times longer than incandescent. They come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes. They produce very little heat, making them safer, especially outdoors. They're also more durable and resistant to breakage.

Types of LED bulbs include: Wide Angle (120-degree spread), C5 (small, ideal for trees/wreaths), C7 (midsized, for outdoor and large indoor), C9 (large, often used as roofline lighting), and Icicle (emulate dripping icicles).
